Paisley Dish Sterling Silver Drop Earrings

These paisley silver drop earrings were created specially for the From The Archives range using patterned sterling silver that Simone originally made more than a decade ago.

The detailed paisley design was one of Simone's favourite patterns to work with and has appeared across numerous jewellery pieces over the years. Richly layered and densely detailed, the vintage-inspired motif has a decorative quality that reveals new elements as the light shifts across the silver surface.

Rather than being etched, the pattern was impressed into the sterling silver using a rolling mill, creating a softer, more integrated texture within the metal. The resulting detail feels subtle but still richly patterned, especially when combined with the gently concave dish shape of the earrings.

The curved form allows the silver to reflect light differently across the surface, giving the earrings movement and depth despite their relatively simple silhouette. Their polished finish and elongated handmade ear wires add brightness and elegance while keeping the design easy to wear.

Although this particular earring design has never previously been available in the store, the silver itself carries the history of an earlier creative period in Simone's jewellery practice. These earrings became a final way to make use of one of her most-loved decorative silver patterns before it was fully retired.

These silver drop earrings work beautifully with both casual and dressier outfits, adding texture and interest without overwhelming. Their lightweight feel also makes them comfortable enough for regular wear.
