These long handmade silver chain earrings bring together years of small experiments in chain making. Each link began as a test, sample or exploration of shape and texture, gradually collected over time before finally finding its place within this striking pair of earrings.
The result is a genuinely one-of-a-kind design from the From The Archives range, assembled from fragments of Simone's jewellery-making history.
The chains vary in form and finish, with round, oval, paperclip and teardrop-shaped links layered together to create movement and contrast. Some links are softly flattened and polished smooth, while others feature a more heavily hammered surface with a sparkling satin texture.
Every individual link has been formed, soldered and textured by hand in sterling silver. Although the earrings are intentionally mis-matched, they have been carefully balanced so they feel cohesive rather than random.
As you move through the day, the chains shift, separate and catch the light differently each time they're worn. Despite their dramatic length, these statement silver earrings remain relatively lightweight and comfortable to wear.
They work beautifully with simple outfits where the movement and reflective textures can take centre stage. Pair them with black, white, linen, denim or minimalist styling for maximum contrast and impact.
