Crown Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace

This silver crown necklace was created simply because Simone loved the shape of the crown itself. No elaborate concept: just an irresistible silhouette that felt both decorative and playful when translated into hand-cut sterling silver.

The pendant was originally available in Simone's jewellery collection many years ago before eventually being retired. This final remaining version was later rediscovered in her workshop stash already cut out and partially prepared, quietly waiting to be completed for the From The Archives range.

The crown has been entirely hand-sawn from sterling silver by Simone, including the delicate inner cut-outs, curved arches and tiny cross finial at the top. The clean silhouette gives the piece clarity and charm, while the visible saw and sanding marks preserve the warmth and individuality of handmade jewellery.

Although playful in spirit, the pendant avoids feeling overly decorative or costume-like. At this scale, the crown reads more as a subtle symbol of confidence and personality than overt fantasy, making it easy to wear with everyday outfits.

The bright polished finish helps the crown catch the light beautifully while still retaining its softly handcrafted feel. Suspended from a delicate and sparkly sterling silver chain adjustable from 45cm to 55cm, the necklace layers easily with other silver jewellery or works beautifully on its own.

Most of our necklaces are adjustable. We typically use a standard (princess) length of 45cm (18"), with an additional 10cm extender chain, which allows adjustment up to matinee length (55cm / 22"). These are the most popular and versatile necklace lengths.
