Rose Bouquet Etched Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace

This rose bouquet silver pendant necklace began as an experimental design when Simone was exploring how a detailed floral illustration would translate into etched sterling silver. After being partially completed, the piece was quietly forgotten in Simone's workshop stash for many years before finally being rediscovered for the From The Archives range.

The etched artwork has the feel of a vintage stylised floral illustration, with finely detailed roses and foliage arranged into a softly curved bouquet composition. Rather than reading as a bold graphic floral motif, the design feels more delicate and atmospheric, revealing its detail gradually as the light moves across the silver surface.

The sterling silver pendant has been shaped into a gently domed oval form which gives the piece a more intimate, object-like quality than a flat pendant. The slight curve helps the floral illustration sit naturally within the shape, almost like a miniature silver keepsake or locket.

Simone chose a satin brushed finish for the silver rather than a bright polish, allowing the etched bouquet to remain soft and understated. The result feels calm, wearable and quietly artistic rather than highly decorative.

Although refined and easy to wear, the pendant still has noticeable presence thanks to its generous oval shape. It works beautifully with linen, soft knits, simple dresses and layered silver jewellery, especially where the subtle botanical detailing can be appreciated up close.

The pendant is suspended from a delicate and sparkly sterling silver chain adjustable from 45cm to 55cm for flexible everyday styling.

Most of our necklaces are adjustable. We typically use a standard (princess) length of 45cm (18"), with an additional 10cm extender chain, which allows adjustment up to matinee length (55cm / 22"). These are the most popular and versatile necklace lengths.

Some of our designs have different lengths, and a few are non-adjustable. Be sure to check the product details and sizes & materials section for the specific measurements of this necklace.
