Flying Bird Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace

This silver bird pendant necklace was inspired by a set of 1950s flying bird ceramic ornaments that once belonged to Simone's grandmother and now hang on Simone's own wall.

The design draws on that familiar mid-century idea of birds in flight across a domestic wall, then adds a second layer of ornament through the damask pattern on the silver surface. Together, the bird and pattern create a small reference to decorative walls: ceramic ornaments, vintage wallpaper and the objects we keep in our homes over time.

The pendant is made in sterling silver with a bright polished finish and a detailed damask surface pattern. Its small scale makes it especially easy to wear every day, either on its own as a subtle piece or layered with other fine silver necklaces.

This is the last remaining piece from a retired design that has not been available for several years. It now returns as part of the From The Archives range, offering one last chance to own this sweet little bird necklace.

The pendant is suspended from a delicate sterling silver chain adjustable from 45cm to 55cm, allowing it to sit neatly with different necklines or layer with longer pieces.

Most of our necklaces are adjustable. We typically use a standard (princess) length of 45cm (18"), with an additional 10cm extender chain, which allows adjustment up to matinee length (55cm / 22"). These are the most popular and versatile necklace lengths.
