Etched Sterling Silver Cluster Pendant Necklace

This etched silver necklace began as a rediscovered unfinished project: a collection of small etched silver panels found partially completed in Simone's workshop stash many years after they were first made.

Originally, these tiny fragments were leftovers from larger etched jewellery designs. Simone often created extensive patterned silver sheets filled with floral, geometric and decorative motifs, then cut larger jewellery pieces from them. The remaining fragments were too small for their original purpose, but too interesting to discard.

Completing this necklace became a way to transform those leftover pieces into something entirely new. Each small panel has been individually cut, domed, finished and polished before being assembled into this one-of-a-kind design from the From The Archives range.

The 14 oval and round pendants vary in size and pattern, featuring tiny stars, swirling paisley details, floral textures and abstract geometric forms. Together they create a layered cluster with a slightly eclectic, collected feel, while the polished silver surfaces catch and reflect the light as the pendants move.

Although the necklace has a delicate appearance, it contains a satisfying weight of sterling silver and substantial handmade detail. The individual pendants shift and settle independently throughout the day, creating subtle movement and changing combinations of pattern and texture.

The cluster sits at the centre of a sleek sterling silver box chain which adds contrast to the more organic surfaces of the pendants. Adjustable from 45cm to 55cm, this statement silver necklace can be worn at different lengths depending on your outfit and styling.

Most of our necklaces are adjustable. We typically use a standard (princess) length of 45cm (18"), with an additional 10cm extender chain, which allows adjustment up to matinee length (55cm / 22"). These are the most popular and versatile necklace lengths.

Some of our designs have different lengths, and a few are non-adjustable. Be sure to check the product details and sizes & materials section for the specific measurements of this necklace.
