This small damask silver and gold pendant necklace began as an experimental variation of an earlier jewellery design sold through Simone's online store many years ago. While the original production version featured a brushed silver finish, this early test explored darkening the etched damask pattern to create stronger contrast and depth.
Although the blackened finish was ultimately not used in the production design, Simone kept this version lurking in her stash because of its dramatically different character. It now appears as part of the From The Archives range as a one-of-a-kind alternative version that was never previously released.
The pendant itself is crafted in sterling silver with one of Simone's favourite recurring damask patterns etched into the surface. The silver has been gently domed into a dish shape, allowing the intricate floral detailing to catch the light differently across the curved form.
The recessed etched areas have been darkened while the raised silver surface has been polished back to brightness, giving the pattern a more atmospheric and dimensional appearance than the original production version.
At the centre sits a natural amazonite cabochon gemstone in a serrated solid 14ct gold setting. The soft blue-green colour of the stone contrasts beautifully against the darker silver surface, while the warm gold bezel adds another layer of depth and richness to the materials.
Amazonite is valued for its calm blue-green tones and softly opaque appearance, giving this small pendant a vivid but still wearable focal point. Despite its compact scale, the combination of oxidised silver, gold and gemstone colour gives the piece strong visual presence.
The pendant is suspended from a delicate and sparkly sterling silver chain adjustable from 45cm to 55cm for flexible everyday styling.

- Gemstone size: The amazonite gemstone is 0.4cm in diameter (0.16").
