We create our jewellery using recycled silver and gold wherever possible. This includes many of our sterling silver jewellery and solid gold jewellery designs.

Using recycled metals reduces the need for environmentally damaging mining, but you still get the same high-quality materials: recycled precious metals are identical in quality to newly mined ones.

None of our metal scraps go to waste. Any leftover silver or gold from our jewellery making processes is collected and sent off to be melted down, refined, and reused. It's a simple but important way to minimise waste and keep materials in circulation.

We use a mix of stone types across our gemstone jewellery designs. For stones with a high value where sourcing can raise ethical concerns, we generally choose lab-grown or simulated alternatives where available. These are both ethical and eco-friendly.

Lab-created stones are identical in make up to the mined versions, while offering excellent clarity and colour at a more affordable price. What's not to love about that?

We do use plenty of natural gemstones too, but typically lower-value stones that carry fewer ethical risks. All of our gemstones are sourced from suppliers we trust to follow responsible and transparent practices.

Note that we do not use natural diamonds due to widespread ethical concerns.

Whenever we use chemicals in our production processes, we make conscious choices to select options that are safer, more sustainable, and less harmful to the environment. This also helps protect our small team from unnecessary exposure.

We recycle or compost everything we can — even our office paper gets composted in our on-site worm farm (our worms are all named Warren, and they're very enthusiastic recyclers!). It's one small way we aim to reduce our environmental footprint.

A number of our jewellery components are made to our designs by a trusted artisan-run workshop in Indonesia. This partnership allows us to bring more of our intricate designs to life and keep up with demand, while ensuring fair and safe working conditions, with these skills being kept alive. We've personally visited the workshop to confirm that practices align with our values.

From raw materials to shipping products, we prioritise working with suppliers who are environmentally conscious, socially responsible, and transparent about their practices.

We actively seek out recycled, compostable, or otherwise eco-conscious materials for our studio and packaging. Where there's a more sustainable option, we aim to choose it. You can read more about our jewellery packaging further down the page.
