7 outfit ideas to dress your best this Christmas

Best jewellery and fashion trends for Christmas 2016.

Looking for some good news? Here at Simone Walsh Jewellery we have a whole new jewellery range for the festive season. YAY!

Just quietly the pieces are also really really pretty, if we do say so ourselves.

These intricate jewellery pieces are ready to mix and match with this season's hottest outfits; they just need you in them.

And since you've got enough to organise we've laid out some ensembles to make the silly season a little less daunting.

You're welcome.

Formal events:

The double tulip earrings and matching pendant come in a dusty rose gold and are a perfect match for on-trend pastels. Imagine them against pale pink with a long, flowing silhouette or nod to masculine tailoring with ‘40s style trousers.

The gold and amethyst chandelier earrings will complement a lilac palette whilst the gold butterfly wing earrings and matching pendant will sit beautifully against gelato green.

Grab yourself a metallic clutch and get ready for some glamour. Great for special occasions like romantic dinners, engagement parties or awards nights.

Travel and picnics:

Thinking of getting away somewhere exotic and spicy? Or just wishing you could?

Team the gold Moroccan tile pendant with a peasant dress, finishing it off with the solid gold rose quartz stacking ring and matching solid gold earrings.

Think clashing but complementary fabrics, with vibrant colours to give you a sense of adventure and freedom. The mandala lapis lazuli pendant will also work well with this look; just choose fabrics to bring out the colours of the jewellery.

Bring the look together with a massive pair of '70s-inspired round sunglasses. It's a great look for long, slow afternoon picnics, a champagne breakfast or even Christmas lunch – the loose fit means you can eat as many roast potatoes as you like and still be comfortable. Nice.

Smart casual:

For something a bit different, try wide legged, high waisted Japanese long shorts with an off the shoulder or 'cold shoulder' blouse. The blouses come in all kinds of fabrics from gentle t-shirt cloth to detailed lace cut outs.

Add the cherry blossom pendant, ring and post earrings (or alternatively the chalcedony and gold hoop earrings with the plain silver mandala open locket) and you’re ready for lunch by the river, a trip to wine country on a sunny day or the end of year work boat cruise.

Feeling a bit more casual? You can always preppy the whole look up by swapping the blouse for a vintage baseball t-shirt and chuck on some espadrilles for a stroll down the beach.

Whatever the occasion, there's some beautiful Australian designed jewellery just for you. It’s sophisticated without being stuffy and mixes and matches with any wardrobe. Best of all it's made with precious metals and gems so it will stand the test of time.

Don’t be afraid to treat yourself or your loved ones; you’ve earned it.

Check out the new jewellery range or visit the online jewellery store to find more great pieces.
